They're not doing too well in the new jerseys. Down 4-0 to the baby garbage fire after 1.

Speaking of Jersey.. how did Matthew Gaudreau get assigned to Reading of the ECHL? Only an hour and change from New Jersey... pretty nice of the Flames to do that.

The Heat pulled back to 4-2 before giving up 2 late goals and losing their first of the year 6-2. Quine and E2 with our goals.

Would assume that means Gillies is good 2 go. Heat also loaned Morelli to KC yesterday.

Stockton Heat @AHLHeat
Heat have assigned goalie Nick Schneider to @kc_mavericks

Good to see Posipisil isn't losing his edge...

The Heat started with 3 goals early in the game tonight. Bakersfield responded with 3 of their own. The game was tied at 3 going into the third. Tuulola scores the only goal in the third. Heat win 4-3.

5-1-0 record to start the season.

Isn’t Cave the guy that Pospisil hit really hard in the prospects game too?

Great on Cave to reach out.

As for Pospisil, I was worried about that kid stepping up into the AHL from the USHL and fighting men. Hope Rinaldo and Big Ern can takenhim aside and show him some important survival tactics.

The game before last, he went down in a fight before getting back up angry and waving off the refs-then winning the fight. I think he needs to learn that the boys in the pro leagues can punch, and to avoid those punches.

Awesome to see Stockton starting off good. Looks like a lot more talent coming next year as well from looking at the Flames weekly prospect reports.

Still pulling for Gillies. Pop is one hell of a disturber.

Looks like the Heat may be amenable to a lease extension with the City of Stockton.
