A Calgary-shot miniseries based on the Coen Brothers’ 1996 dark comedy Fargo is looking for extras.
The series, which stars Billy Bob Thornton, Martin Freeman and Colin Hanks, will air on FX Canada. Shooting began in early November.
Producers are looking for men and women, aged 16 to 70, with a “wide diversity of looks and ages with all nationalities and ethnicities required.”
The open casting call will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Marlborough Mall (near the food court).
