Dinos receiver Tyson Philpot is an unanimous choice as Canada West player of the year. Man, it would be fantastic if the Stamps could draft either Tyson or his brother Jalen. Why not both lol.

Saskatchewan Huskies are the 2021 Hardy Cup Champs as they throttled the Bisons 45-17.

Final four in USports football is now set:

Saskatchewan vs. Montreal
StFX vs. Western

Huskies with first touchdown of the game. 2 point convert is no good. Carabins lead 9-7 in the 4th.

With just five seconds remaining, it's Adam Machart who finds the endzone. Unbelievable. 14-10 Huskies. They move on to play Western next week for the Vanier.

Congrats to the Huskies. Dinos could easily be where the Huskies are right now, but just found too many ways to lose games this season.

My two alma maters against each other in the Vanier Cup, I love it, but don’t know so I’m going to cheer for!

Man, this field at Laval today reminds me of Commonwealth for the Grey Cup game in 2018.

Man, that Husky receiver was wide open. Thought Nyhus overthrew him initially, but a beautiful throw. PAT blocked, Saskatchewan leads 9-7

Hopefully, Machart can return to this game, but that was a huge hit he took on his knee/lower leg.

Edit: Machart is back, good to see. Huskies driving in this final minute of the 1st half.

Edit 2: FG is good (I think the Sask. receiver was out of bounds on the previous play) and it's 12-10 Huskies at halftime.

I will never understand why a team hands the ball off four yards deep on a 3rd and 1.

That turnovers on downs by Saskie was the CBC turning point. Western finds paydirt again on the last play of the 3rd quarter and now leads 24-14.

Huskies down six with 28 seconds left - Need to recover this on-side kick for any chance.

Edit: No chance as the execution was lacking.

Western takes the Vanier Cup 27-21

The QB for Western is a freshman, ergo that team is in good hands for the foreseeable future.

Good game...better team on the day won for sure. I'm very happy the Huskies got to the Vanier this year.
