Honestly I still hate that Durant went to Golden State.
Just hurt Curry’s legacy. Curry was good enough to get to back to back finals without KD and it robbed us of what should have been two more great finals with Lebron and Curry head to head. Instead of the cake walks they were.
I guess in the end it led to a Raptors Championship so can’t complain too much.
I think it says more that curry decided to be a good teammate and not pout. There's only one ball and he has to give up touches and shots (Klay too) to win. How many other top 3 players ever did that? Pippen?

The Raps system seems to be a winner vs. talent evaluation. Whatever they're doing they're doing right when it comes to developing players within a good system. I think we think of them as evaluating talent and winning each time, but I don't think that's the case for any given GM/President. They simply have an archetype of players who will work in their system and work with them. I would assume if Powell would be brought back he'd do better than his current team. The Raps do something well in development and putting guys to succeed.

Cavs lose Sexton for the season (plus Mobley out for at least a month). I don't think that's a huge deal for Cleveland who was probably play-in bound at best, and now probably better positioned for a mid-lottery pick, but it's definitely tough for Sexton who was holding out for a big contract in the offseason.
Interesting development in the Lakers/Detroit game tonight. Lebron with the total dirty move by swiping at Isaiah Stewart's face. Stewart loses it probably the worst I've ever seen an NBA player do it and wants to attack Lebron. Lebron acts all innocent as usual but still deservedly gets ejected. He's a talented guy, but like all NBA stars, gets every foul and gets away with this BS. Too bad Stewart didn't pop him in the nose. Would've taught him a lesson.

Completely. He clearly punched then acted like he was concerned for the guys' well being. While I don't recall Lebron punching anyone before, he has taken liberties then plays victim after. It's his classic move but this time he went too far. Probably a turning point in his career where he may not get those wishy washy calls anymore as it's in plain sight he's a bull####ter.
Yeah, weird incident. Curious to see how the league deals with it. Hate the league's pattern of going softer on the original offense than the reaction, but fully expect that's what we'll see here. (Like suspending Jokic for reacting to Morris' cheap shot, but not suspending Morris for the more dangerous original act.) I'd expect a wrist-slap light fine for LeBron and a game for Stewart.

Sadly I see that too. Even worse is Dwayne Casey sticking up for Lebron by saying he didn’t throw a punch and that there should be no repercussions to Lebron. If I were Stewart I’d be livid at my coach pandering in this situation. Things happen in a split second but that situation didn’t call for it. He went out of his way to swing.

you were mostly right, unfortunately. One game suspension for James, two games for Stewart.
Interesting choice of words by the Raps coaching staff about Dragic taking a personal leave of absence (but then going on to say how good a guy he's been). If it was a personal reason they shouldn't have to justify that he's a good guy with the younger players. Really sounds like the guy has had enough of sitting on the bench and just wants to take a breather until a deal is made, but both sides are trying to save face. I think he just gets bought out and everyone calls it a day in a couple weeks, as it doesn't sound like there are any takers.
Can't use injuries as an excuse. They still have Pascal and FVV playing. They do seem to be getting the short end of the ref's whistle at home though for some reason.
