Oh yeah, the only chain pizza I get every once and awhile is Papa Johns, Pizza Hut and Dominos and I get all three well done. I really don't understand why they don't do that as standard operating procedure.
Most of the chains are really stringy and gross when done to their standard cook procedures.
Not sure if this is good or bad, but my two toddlers both love Pizza Hut. No idea why. Cheese, no toppings. My only guess is that it's just so simple and satisfying they prefer it over all the others. I guess it could be worse (Little Caesars)
My choice would be Sammy's but they both don't like how much heavier it is
-Bow Tie
-It’s Actually Pretty Good
-Hanni’s
-Dominoes (one very close to me, quick, crazy cheap from App and coupons and I like the options you can choose. Sauce is the best one of Fast Food joints IMO)

For us:
1) Crispy Crust
2) Nikos
3) Pizza hut when we want stuff crust and super hungover, plus we love the boneless bites.

Pizza Hut does that absurd amount of spray oil or whatever it is after cooking. Artificially makes the dough part of it taste and seem more crispy, flavourful.

Lina's Italian Market for a cheap pie. It is surprisingly good pizza and close to the type of pizza I have had in Italy.

Usually it was
1) Sophie's for greek style pizza. Now I think Bowtie might be included in the mix.
2) Connie and John's in Marda Loop for New York style pizza. Though we find it way too salty.
3) Posto, Pulcinella or Una for gourmet pizza.
4) Dominos for fast food pizza.
We tried Actually Pretty good and didn't like it much. Mind you it was right after they opened and the pizza was a bit cold by the time it got home.
Some other good pizzas that we just haven't included in our regular rotation would be Mercato and Linas.

I've changed from Dominos to Pizza 73 as my cheap and easy pizza choice. Canadian company at the end of the day was the biggest reason.
I like to support small businesses where I can like Bow Tie, but sometimes you need something quick and cheap.
Pizza 73 is inedible to me. I like pizza enough that usually bad pizza is better than no pizza...except Pizza 73. Dominos is pretty good for what it is.
Pizza 73 used to be a go-to for decent cheap pizza, but the last pie I bought was vile. I don't know what they did, but the entire crust tasted... soapy. We only ate a few bites and threw the rest away.

We have been getting one pizza with cauliflower crust when we order from Sammy's. Quite enjoy it.
We recently got an air fryer (Black Friday deal) and I've been converted to re-heating pizza in there. While cold pizza is still a nice option, I have to say that the additional time it takes to pop it in the air fryer (usually 3-4 minutes total) versus the microwave is worth it.
I know there's a dedicated air fryer thread already, but how different would the outcome be for oven low broil/convection bake, other than speed? 5 minutes vs 10-15 doesn't make much difference to me since it's the same amount of setup work and I'm not usually minutes away from death if I don't consume a slice.
We went to Jinbar (korean fusion, bar style food) for dinner on the weekend, and I want to give a shout out to their pizzas. While the toppings and flavors are not your traditional pizza toppings, they were really well done and actually worked quite well. I don't generally tend to try crazy toppings (Hawaiian is as far out as I'll go), but the Beef Bulgogi pizza was surprisingly really well done. The beef was high quality ribeye sliced thinly, and marinated perfectly, so it's not too sweet or not too salty. The mix of bulgogi, sliced serrano peppers, and mozzarella/cheddar cheese blend and the fresh tomato sauce was amazing.
They have other interesting pizza toppings like sweet corn and honey butter chips (Koreans would relate to this flavor combo), spicy Buldak fried chicken (this is seriously spicy), and a mushroom pizza.
We went here to try out their Korean Fried Chicken, but ended up loving the pizza more.
The chef is Jinhee Lee from Top Chef Canada, and she also was the chef at Foreign Concept. They also have an extensive cocktail menu, as well as some house draft beer which is pretty decent.
If you're up for a unique pizza place, I'd highly recommend Jinbar.
