First choice to get dealt, even if money retained, Grichuk. There will be 0 negative effect if he leaves.

As for Kirk, potentially a great bat, but as a catcher he has a lot to be desired defensively. Fortunately not too many teams steal all the time. Jansen I was completely down on his entire career but he did very well the second half of this year which makes me think he should be given every opportunity to continue. He may have figured something out.

I have to say I'm a little concerned with what Jays management will do this year. You hear things thrown out like Guerriel or Teoscar can be potentially dealt, and I genuinely don't know how that could make them better. I don't believe too much in the importance of OF defence, and both aren't bad there. Their bats are really good obviously. Pitching will be the biggest question mark overall. Biggio has to work hard this off-season to catch up too.

If he stays healthy, he will likely be up with the Jays very early on next season and IMO it will be like adding another Bo level type hitter to the line up, if not even better.

It'll be interesting to see if the Jays slide him over to 3rd base for a bit, or make room for him behind the plate by dealing one of Jansen or Kirk for pitching this off season.
Three Mickey Mantle level hitters would be something.

Plays mostly outfield. Jays are pretty set with starting OFers with Springer, Teo and Gurriel.

As expected the Jays extend QO's to Ray and Semien

They do not qualify Steven Matz. They apparently offered him a multi year deal which he turned down.
