I have started looking into alternative CDN providers, if we don't get a fix soon I'm going to look at switching.

It hasn’t corrected itself since it went bad again. Was hoping it would at least come and go because even that is better than whatever this is. Takes forever to load a single click.

Any update from the service provider?

Just loaded up the VPN on my phone and put it to Toronto and it’s working!

No updates from the provider. I've got a few alternatives in mind so just need to check to make sure they can do what we need and that the cost is similar and if that's all good I'll look at getting signed up for one.

Still it shouldn’t have to come to switching providers, the current guys should have a fix.

They emailed me saying they think they've made progress, so hopefully that fixes it.

If anyone is still having issues let me know.

Hey pho, might be on my end but the past 24 hours or so the site is loading super slow for me. Other sites I try seem fine. Every time I post now it takes probably 5-10 seconds or so before anything happens and when it does there's almost always double posts. Might just be me but I cleaned up my computer and still the same thing.

edit: actually seems like the site is loading fine until I try to post something, then it just stalls for 5-10 seconds until it submits it. Weird.

I’ve noticed the double post thing. I keep getting it and I’ve noticed double posts from others more frequently the last few days.

All of my posts are now double posts. Every time it takes forever to load after I hit submit then it takes me back to the reply screen and says it’s a duplicate of a post I’ve already made.

Edit: not duplicate warning actually. It’s the “you must wait 30s between posts”.

Yeah I noticed similar today too, at least for the double posts. I'll take a look at the load on the database server.

We used to trim threads at about 5000 posts on the old server but the new one seems to be a lot better so I've been intentionally letting some big threads go bigger to try and find what the new limit is and it seems we've found it. I may take the forum offline for a bit to trim a bunch of threads too.

Ok I trimmed a few of the biggest threads except for the Edmonton thread, will trim that when we get a new title (maybe after they hopefully lose). Hopefully it has improved things a bit.

EDIT: I still got quite a lag making this post, I may restart the server tomorrow as well.
