I think Sheffield Utd now have had the worst start out of any English team in any league ever.

So the Fulham/Spurs match today is a maybe. The kickoff is 11am here, and there is no real decision on whether it's a go. Mourinho put on his instagram (which generally appears hilarious if you're into that) a video from the lounge in the stadium of players hanging out and the caption "Match at 6pm. We still don't know if we play. Best league in the world."

And now postponed. I have no idea when that will be jammed in, but maybe that was the reason they waited until the bitter end to try to play this. I guess an extra couple days seems good now, but longer term it’s probably a mess if things stay the same as they’re scheduled.

I’m wondering about a 2 week (or longer) shutdown though. If teams are getting hit with the virus, it seems plausible if not necessary.

They vow to continue on but I don’t know how.

2 week break sounds great especially being a Liverpool fan.

At least I still won fantasy this week!!!! Won’t someone please think about fantasy ?!?!?

My fantasy team is getting killed these days! I actually forgot to make a couple changes after the weekend and before this round of games started, so I had a player or two who was on my team that didn't play.

Ugh...with a few Brazilians in the squad I'm hoping they are either smart enough to stay away or told firmly enough that its forbidden.

Its like the second hardest-hit Country in the world and Neymar, not the sharpest tool, is going to try and pull this kind of stunt?

This is 'blindfold and a cigarette' level of stupid.

And another start for Nat Phillips! Good for him!

Seriously lacking some finish today, should be a couple clear.

How is Darlow holding on to Mane's leg not a penalty?

That’s ugly, should have scored 3 or 4.

Reversion to the mean. Love to see it.

Liverpool wasn’t that much better than everyone else last year, and it was bound to be closer this year.

Still in first and getting healthier but LFC could end up regretting games like these at the end of the year.

So many poor touches especially from players that are usually so sharp like TAA and Salah.

The vastly improved creativity in mid when Gini and Thiago came on was encouraging. Rest of the year with that please.

Yeah, I was really happy when Thiago came on. He can control matches.

But seriously, we want to eliminate the ticky-tacky 'tap a guy's shin 18-yards away is a penalty' but the ball being available, on the goal line and the goalkeeper wraps his hands around Mane and thats fine?

Seems like something VAR should have called no doubt after watching the replays and the fact he fully wrapped his arm around Mane’s leg. Should Mane have gone down? I don’t know maybe?

In theory they should be forced to explain why that was called as is or wasn’t called but I doubt that happens.

This is getting worse. There's nothing to explain.

It's clearly not even remotely closer to bring a penalty.

I see nothing. The blow by blow accounts see nothing. The match retorts make zero mention of it bar all mentioning what a fantastic piece of defending it was. No one tried to claim foul play.

Because everyone with the exception of a few on here sees it for what it is. A nothing burger.

It gets brought up because of the confusion of VAR. It is difficult to understand why certain plays get looked at in slow motion and inspected for any sort of foul, and other plays get brushed off.

Just the other week we looked at Robertson’s kick on Welbeck and you said it is a certain pen because any illegal contact in the box is a foul. Why is that different then this situation? The only difference I see is that Welbeck flopped to the ground to get VAR’s attention, and Mane didn’t react.

FA has banned Cavani for 3 games for his Instagram post. Typical FA, there's just no consistency. Bernardo Silva got 1 game for exactly the same, but hey, why would you hand out the same punishment for the same offense, right?
