I don't have a link or gif or anything but during the build to Survivor Series, Kyle O'Reilly did that as well, he had someone against the barracuda and he just had his elbows out and more or less was rotating at the waste like old action figures. You see it alot in this thing of situation where it's a large fight with many people, they are more careful not to hurt someone and as a result really throw some awful fake punches when they don't think they are on camera

Old video's surface of Lars Sullivan in Gay Porn, what the term I'm looking for, oh yeah Ironic, as in it was pretty ironic of Lars being busted for making a bunch of homophopic comments while being in guy on guy porn.
I would expect that his Wrestling career is over, or Vince will repackaging him as a gay version of Val Venus "Hello Gentlemen"

It could actually explain his comments. Perhaps something negative happened while filming? Or perhaps it's the classic self-loathing closeted gay guy because he'd been raised to hate it.

I pretty much have been skipping main roster stuff, but I decided to tune in tonight and watched the worst cluster flop of a skit that I've ever seen.
First of all, geez there's a giant cake in the ring, I wonder who's going to pop out of that. Why doesn't security ever check what's in the giant cake or box or whatever.
Then Lana who's annoying and untalented sits around blathering that its all about her, no surprise there.
Oh and Bobby is just so lacking in charisma and anything good sat there with a almost stoned look on their face.
Then they pretty much started rolling out characters, I'm Lana's first husband, I'm Bobby's first wife. And then they return the criminally underused and repackaged Liv Morgan and surprisingly make her a lesbian for I don't know ratings, but it seemed like a throw away, and she gets into a roll around with Lana and it looks like the point of it was to show off Lana's thong. And then surprise Rusev pops out of the cake and beats up Bobby while Liv smashes Lana's face into the cake.
Overall Raw is awful, it had one moment and that we Randy and the fake injury. Just terrible Television. But that last skit, wow.

That's about how I feel about it.
I really feel like people take professional wrestling way too seriously as a while, in the end it's still a carny side show, a guilty pleasure.

Yeah that whole storyline was terrible...
BUT wrestling is more fun when it's more make believe, has more campy storylines, and takes itself less seriously. So from that perspective at least it was a step in the right direction.

The use of the ampitheatre was different. Looks strange on TV but not bad. Loved the big screen, although I likely would have put the hard cam under that screen (if possible) to show the crowd. Crowd looked huge due to the layout (even if the capacity was only 5,500).
The really odd thing, it was like 12°C in Jacksonville last might (I checked when I saw Justin Roberts wearing a big coat). Must have been cold for the performers as they'd be used to temperature controlled 20°C venues.

Currently watching AJPW New Years Wars 2020 at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo... Wrestling event #1 of 5 here over the next couple days. This is THE week to be in Japan for wrestling for sure!

Hart Family Restaurant closes down, leaving Employees owed thousands. Sad story as she had used her dad and Nattie had written a whole column promoting the place.

I haven't seen Raw in a very long time and was wondering when did Jerry Lawler come back? Because I forgot how freaking awesome he is.

Around September when the "new season" started.
And the guy who was tackled in the ring after AJ left was actually the pastor for the Lana/Lashley segment. Nobody told security about him. lol

Moxley joined the Inner Circle. Oh, wait. He was just kidding.
I kept watching to see him double cross Jericho. I knew it was coming. Everybody knew it was coming. It was a bit awkwardly drawn out so you knew they were trying to swerve us.
For a moment I thought. Yeah, Moxley wants to dominate and he can dominate as part of a super group in the Inner Circle and that makes sense to be dominant but... this just doesn't seem like a Moxley thing to do though. This character doesn't seem like the 2nd fiddle to anybody, especially Jericho.
I only caught that segment and DDP's segment. Both were predictable.
AEW is freshly different from WWE, but it is still missing something.

I thought it was a pretty mediocre episode overall. It's still not a very tight show with segments going over, bad camera cuts, etc. They also didn't come back from commercial quick enough when MJF cut his promo, which included him counting down from 10, so head to awkwardly do it again. And I agree with you on the Moxley/IC stuff. It was really well-planned but poorly executed with the amount of time they spent just hanging around in the ring.
It was interesting to me that DDP was on the show last night because the Moxley stuff sort of reminded me of when the nWo tried to recruit DDP. WCW did a lot of things wrong but they absolutely nailed that segment and it got DDP massively over with the fans. Mox is a bit different because he's already over but this could have been done much better.
I can't stand Kevin Dunn but I think AEW needs to consider hiring a Kevin Dunn-type of producer to manage the show a bit better. The talent is there, the storylines and character development are pretty good, and the mic work is probably the best in professional wrestling right now, but the show is still really raw and needs some fine-tuning. With that being said, the show has only been on the air for 3 months, so I think you have to grade it on a bit of a curve.

It just felt like a WCW script to me, Moxley makes things better then they actually are.
I agree with rating it on a curve, and I'm probably wrong, but attendance is declining and they should really look at smaller venues. Also I think their ratings are sitting at about a million or under viewers, which has to be a concern for advertisers.
Kevin Dunn is a boob, but he's very good at making a show look good and run smooth.
