I was #2400 - got in after about 90 minutes.

But once in, it kept crashing or freezing. I would find a time, push through, and get all the way to the end, and it would say the credit card wasn't valid, or the time wasn't available, or <insert another screw up>

After being on the site, trying to make bookings, for about 90 minutes, I managed to get 2 tee times. Then it kicked me out. Now I am in the queue again and there are still 4,000 ahead of me after another hour or so.

Good times.

But having tee times in K Country is worth it, so I am plugging away.

This is it, isn't it? Why they won't go to a better system? We hate it, and are puzzled by how bad it is, but I'll be damned if I didn't spend 3+ hours trying to get times. Seems to be much more doable now, although obviously most of the best times are drying up.

It’s always easier to just book 3 or 4 days in advance. Always tons of cancellations. Played out there 5 or 6 times last year and didn’t book any of them in advance.

I gave up after a few hours of endless frustration. It does look like there is one pending CC charge so maybe the first time I was able to try to finalize a reservation worked. Probably not though.

How can it be this much of a disaster every single year?

Can't wait to get goign with some lessons.
I had insomnia last night and ended up re gripping all my irons, driver and my putter.

In fact it's easy to do. Gripping tape, solvent and a bench vise with the rubber thingy that goes around the shaft.

My dad wrote me a wall of text about the troubles he ran into booking a time for us. I made the most of it and snuck an early time in I haven't told him about yet for the same day. Mt Lorette and Kidd on the same day. With a nice lunch in between. Should be a blast.

Good luck to everyone else...there are always cancellations like Weitz mentioned.

Finished regrouping my clubs tonight. What a tedious task.

These grips should shave strokes off my game, right……

Playing Muirfield on Sunday if the weather holds… have a launchpad time booked as a backup.

I played the TPC Harding park in San Francisco last Thursday and I have to say I was pretty unimpressed with the course. It hosted the 2020 PGA Championship that Morikawa won. Don't get wrong, it's a nice course but for a course that hosted a major championship I guess I was expecting more. It didn't help that I played like crap either.

I hit up "The Track" in langdon on Sunday and it was in fine shape for March golf.

Played Northview - Ridge in Surrey today and it's a pretty nice course!
Beautiful day here, and a nice practice round before heading to Palm Springs Thursday.
Good Times!

Yeah, I've played it too. It's fine, but nothing all that special.

What I really want to play in this general vicinity is Pasatiempo in Santa Cruz. Legendary Alister McKenzie track.

T minus 25 days to Bandon Dunes for me!

TPC curses are notorious for being disappointing. The problem is they dump so much chemical on the course for a couple months before the tournament, and then don't spend on it otherwise. It is great for about a month, in around the tournament, but then goes back to "meh" for the majority of the season. The allure of the tour just doesn't hold up when the stands aren't there, the cameras are missing, and the conditions are mediocre.

Pasatiempo is an absolute bucket trip course. Played it on the same trip to Pebble Beach, and it was by far the best course we played.

Enjoy. Have it booked in June, so will be looking for some advanced intel!

I've played two rounds at Strathmore this week, opened last Friday (March 25), first time I can ever recall playing that course in March.

Great shape too considering its frickin March!
