Probably a combination of all the penalties the Riders was assessed last night as well as a big hit by Simoni Lawrence on a Riders receiver that was a couple of yards out of bounds that didn't get flagged.

I suggest you go read his Monday morning blog. If you thought last week's blog was whiny you can argue this week is worse as he's again arguing that they got shafted by the officials and gets on his high horse saying that the league picking on the Riders is going to cost teams as for example he says that Edmonton will now lose 10k tickets sold for this week's game which is money in the pockets of the Eskimos. I don't think I have even read stuff this preposterous on RF and yet it's the Riders PBP man spewing this crap. Frankly I'm very surprised the organization is letting him carry on like this as he represents the organization an right now he's neck and neck with Jones in regards to embarrassing them.

No kidding that was just awful as he had a 2 yard head start which played a role in him getting open deep. CFL officiating is terrible but it usually evens out for the teams. I believe Rod actually think he has some pull and that the CFL is reading his blogs thinking they better go easy on the Riders or risk losing their support of the league causing it to fold lol.
