you didn't miss anything. It felt like the whole Flames organization was in a waiting room tonight.
Hope you're doing ok now.

You didn't miss a lot from a Flames fan perspective. No juicy trade rumours and a lot of reach picks. Kind of a boring first round.

Hope the ER took good care of you and helping your arm. Sure didn't miss much of the draft.

Took chemo blast #3 yesterday on time.
White blood cell count was super low on Wednesday so they thought they'd have to postpone. Got up at 5.30AM on Friday morning to be first in line at the rockyview and the results popped so they went through.
3 down, 4-5 more to go

Rough cycle this time, they never really know how they will affect you. Every reaction is unique.
Hoping they don't get steadily worse!

You got this man, you are right, each cycle is its own battle.
It may feel like you come out close to losing one of those battles, but you just have to push through, the war is winnable and you have a lot of people pulling for you!

You are approaching it exactly correctly.
It's a count down with a defined end point.
Next one is half done, or close

Do you have friends and family with you in your chemo sessions?
One of my biggest regrets is not being with my dad during his chemo sessions. It was all about ME (I didn't want to see my dad weak, I couldn't handle it, it was too hard for ME, me me me etc)

What are the painkillers like bingo? You have your medical card? :-)
Edit - My dad managed to avoid alot of the complications of narcotic painkillers with edibles until things got real bad, so I thought I'd bring it up

Watching my late father deal with his Cancer, it was his determination and never give up attitude. When the going gets tough the tough get going was something he said to me on numerous occasions.
Never underestimate the will to push through any obstacle that comes your way. I'm sure Bingo has the same attitude

I have never heard of someone beating cancer with a negative attitude. I am sure it happens sometimes, but I have never heard of it myself.
Stay strong and maintain the most positive attitude you can, and lean on the people who love you. You will get through this.

Take it from the guy on the other side, don't be too hard on yourself. It's hard to see loved ones hurting too.
My wife has been great though.
