If we're going to be a Stanley Cup contender, we need a #1 center who can raise the level of play in a game like this.

Remember, if Nuge was on the team he’d be our first line Center.

Versteeg buzzing the tower on that goal is freakin' nuts.

What a storyline.

Haha awesome.
I heard that on the replay as awesome but wasn't sure if it was a player or fan. Makes you wonder if there was some Elliott hate in the flames room or if that's just some friendly rubbing.

Bit of a dogs breakfast of a game, which seems to be the case for afternoon games, but take the 2 points and run.

Congrats to Mony on his first hat trick.

That was such a great play by Backs and a better shot By Fro. Flames were playing well for an afternoon road game but a couple unlucky goals against and the Flames battled back before they had a chance for Philly to put the game away.
Still giving up way to many shots and way to many turnovers for my liking. Only difference from last was we have a number 1 goalie in net.
Brodie needs to sit as I'm completely fed up with him and would rather him be dealt before he does anymore damage. Stajan as well needs to hang em up as his lack of foot speed and is constantly losing board battles which doesn't help our shots against. But overall a good character win.

I was kind of surprised it was Monahan's first hat trick as a guy that is a consistent in the range of 30 goal scorer you would think he would have had a few already.

Backlund and Frolik = Massive Hockey IQ!

Players like this will always have a long career. Long after their speed lowers, their mind will still keep up with any player and be productive.

He's had one 30 goal season but I get what you're saying. Pure goal scorer

It's looking pretty good right now. Moving into third in the Pacific with Vegas on a slow decline one point ahead and the Kings, the appointed world beaters, two points up. We have ourselves a season people!

Sitting pretty at 3rd in the division.

2 points back of the Kings for 1st, yet the same amount of wins as them.

Scrappy game but oh well better than the Detroit game for sure. Onto the next one!!
