Michael Frolik is just awesome. Rarely makes a mistake, does everything so well and scores big goals. Such a valuable guy on this team.

Brilliant effort from the top line, and Smith was very strong after the first.

A couple really good players are playing well.
They just went 5-2 on a 7 game homestand! Two shaky performances on the road but these morning games are always weird

Kind of a train wreck of a game but exciting because of all the chances. Smith came up big after the first period. I still hate the way this team plays defense. Simply way too many scoring chances are given up. This has to be corrected sooner than later.

very happy and fortunate that we got the 2 points. hopefully they come out with a better effort next game. won't have elliott in the other end on monday. think they missed tkachuk. nice play by backlund and frolik at the end there

Stajan the liability after being scratched for just that, is iced in the final minutes in his first game back with crucial points on the line and ends up in a penalty with exactly 2 to play.

Point at Stajan all you like but him being given that opportunity to royally #### up at a key time is on Gulutzan.

Improvements needed from both players and coaching staff.

Good on Smith for pulling it together as the game wore on. What a warrior.

How was it a clear case of that?
Overtime win on a road with a hatty. Sure would think the pgt would genrally positive. Guess not.

So judging from the mood in here, it is Gulutzan's fault that Philly got two seeing eye goals....

Still a last place penalty kill (that is still trending downwards) and they don't play with discipline. Not exactly a good sign

Yeah Gulutzan has to be better than this. I don't know where he unearthed this strategy of rolling all four lines late into close games. He could be such a better coach if he could rid himself of some of his nonsensical beliefs.

Wow, they may be like the battle of the Somme in their own zone during 60 minutes, but 3 on 3 they are literally unbearable. Patiently waiting for Gaskal.
