Once again, Ortio is working hard tonight. Heat being outshot 12-3, Ortio forced to make a couple big saves including one on Nurse.

OKC's Chase ran into Ortio. Lost his mask and stick. Looks like he's getting up and okay.
Chase is a big boy. Watched him while he was on the Hitmen and kid just went through people, not around.
Heat going to the PP:
Baertschi-Jones-Locke

Heat throwing a ton of pucks towards Bachman on the PP, but he turns away all of them.
Klimchuk now on for the PP.
5 SOG just on this PP. Jones with 2 great chances.

Thank god the Heat got Ortio back. They were reeling with him gone.
Also nice to get Jones back too. Heck of an AHLer. Sure would be nice if they could get Granlund back before the playoffs as well.

I'm not watching or listening unfortunately....how has Klimchuk looked so far? I like the linemates Ward gave him.

Speedy and dangerous. He looked like he was a part of the first goal and wouldn't be surprised if he has a point by the end of the game.

Miller sacrifices the body to block a shot by OKC to save a goal. That went off his head/collarbone/something like that.
Barons all over Ortio and the crease, but nothing goes in.

Around the AHL:
Rochester beat the Marlies and now hold the 7th spot in the Western Conference with 78 points.
Rockford fell to the Admirals. Rockford will remain in 10th spot with 75 points. Admirals tie Abbotsford in points but we have the tie breaker (and a game in progress)
Utica also won against Lake Erie tonight and sit in 11th spot with 75 points.
With a loss, Barons will still hold the 8th and final spot in the playoffs with 77 points going into tomorrow. Charlotte will be in 9th also with 77 points.

Couple chances on the PP but nothing significant.
Reinhart had the best chance just after the penalty expired.
Greg Chase comes out of the box and was hit. Injured and going to the dressing room.
