Bill Arnold Showing Good Numbers for Boston College
Going through withdrawals due to the lockout so I just go on HockeyDB's website and check out players. Although it's still early in the season, Bill Arnold is putting up good numbers along with our other prospect John Gaudreau. I figured we can add on another discussion that isn't related to the lockout.
I don't know much about him but maybe some of you do.

Bill Arnold is probably the prospect, along with Seiloff, that I have the least amount of skepticism about. This kid is an NHL player.

Definitely more of a grind it out in the corners and net front with some upside from what I understand, but I haven't watched more than 5-6 clips since he was drafted, so maybe I'm parroting bad info.
What style? Character forward or more scoring touch than that?
He's got some offensive upside, but I think he projects as a solid two-way 3rd liner.

To me, he always seemed like he'd become a solid 3rd line player from the day he was drafted forward. Not huge upside but enough skills/size to be a good depth guy.
Yeah, I remember Arnold being the draft pick I was happiest about that draft. An absolute steal where we got him. I can see him being a solid third line guy.
Arnold is an excellent three-zone player.
He anchors the PK for the Eagles and has been a good shut-down guy.
He's also a clutch offensive player.
He's not particularly great at anything, but he's good at everything. He just has no single element of his game (like Gaudreau's hands or speed) that's excellent.
I'd argue that John Ramage or Matthew Deblouw is the most underrated.
I second this, especially Ramage he seems to be the forgotten man since he doesn't have an offensive game at all and we aren't privy to highlights of his physical or defensive plays since he is in the NCAA.
I honestly wouldn't be shocked if Ramage shocked everyone and made the Flames in his 1st or 2nd pro season.
With DeBlouw I have said before he is my favorite pick of ours after the 2nd round, I love that we could have a dominant faceoff man in our system.
