Ummm, he's going to Stockton. Not even close to being an NHLer at this stage.

Yeah i would agree....get down to 30 bodies or so and get to work.

As for who stays, I think Kulak should go down as well..he has been awful.

Lomberg should also get a longer look.

At some point, one of these goalies is going to have to put up a solid game/half game and limit the goals against.

Nothing against the kids really, but I'm not super encouraged by the results so far. Hopefully the second half the preseason yields some results between the pipes.

Well, Backlund/Frolik COULD have done whatever they wanted, but of the kids, agreed. He will be an NHLer at some point. No doubt.

Anyone wearing the Flames jersey is part of the "team". I'm sorry you didn't like the characterization of that sentence. Let me re-structure it for you.

The variation of rosters iced by the Canucks and the Oilers have soundly beat the variation of rosters iced by the Flames.

There has been an emphasis placed on having a strong start to the season for the past 4 months - losing the first 3 games of the preseason in this fashion is a little alarming.

Hahaha Bartkowski with the cherry on the sundae of this game right there.

So infuriating. Getting no jump, a regular ordinary meandering irrelevant roster.
Justify a goalscoring rightwinger.

Honorable mention to Lomberg...he was a buzzsaw all night. Jankowski as well.

Actually Glass played well to.

Surely Bartowski is playing his way off the team at this point?

If Bartkowski plays a game for the Flames this season, Gulutzan needs to fired for his poor judgement, Treliving needs to be fired for allowing GG to do such an idiot thing, and Burke needs to be replaced because he did not implement a system that would prevent the Flames from intentionally throwing hockey games.

Odd take.
Ok man so I was watching every shift this period and here it is for Janko:

18:50 - giveaway in the o zone on a PP, after a great play by Valimaki, that resulted in a rush the other way
15:05 – caught flat footed with puck on his stick, rush goes the other way
15:00 - Loses faceoff but his winger picks it up, moves up ice
? (next shift) - Loses Faceoff, stuck in his zone for the entire shift, changes
9:10 – loses faceoff
9:00 – makes a nice play in the d zone to break up a play and move the puck up ice himself. Teammate turns the puck over in o zone on a cycle and line is stuck in d zone again.
5:10 – loses faceoff but wingers bail him out. Puck goes the other way anyways.
5:00 - loses faceoff which immediately leads to a scoring chance against
5:00 – Loses faceoff but winger bails him out again
4:50 – takes long shot from outside off the rush which is deflected, then parks in front of the net, is outmuscled to loose puck
4:36 – doesn’t see Versteeg stuck in zone and goes offside
1:30 – misses loose puck on rim in o zone and comes back 3 on 2.
1:03 – dumps the puck out of the d zone which is deflected over the glass

I will continue to watch.

Wow I hope that is the last time Bartkowski is seen in Calgary....he's awful.
So many better choices.

But it looks like a continuation from last season. Flames lose a lead or have a bad goal or two scored against them and they call it a night. They just can't get fired up after that.

It's not even remotely close.

It's already been posted the worst teams from last season have had the most wins so far in this year's pre season. That was the case last season too.

You are being intensely over-dramatic, as you often seem to do.
