Lots about individual players. Nothing about the team as a whole.

I can see the game threads this season are going to be uber enjoyable.

Vegas absolutely destroyed the Canucks and the Flames are losing 5-3 to an even worse roster fielded by the Canucks for this game.

Well I'd start with the fact you're calling three different mis-matched squads "The Team" like it's the same group and should cast a shadow on us moving forward.

More of the same from you as a poster though.

Best preseason teams last year:
Colorado, Arizona, Detroit.

The year before that:
Edmonton, Detroit, Washington

'Nuff said.

I think Glen's system is too complicated to learn in a couple of games. Lots of discombulation going on. Hopefully with more of the vets in the lineup it will get more cohesive.

I think they should move very quickly to the almost final roster, and get truly up to full speed as a group before game 1. There's only a few that are not locks that are truly worth keeping up - maybe Rittich, Jankowski, Dube, Valimaki, Anderson, Kulak...

Probably too early to start but I blame Gulutzan. It just seems like he has difficulty getting guys to step up at times and put in solid effort for a full game.

Chatfield isn't a top prospect; he's a CHL overager who went undrafted. But the point is fair. Add Demko to that. This is literally the entire Canuck prospect cupboard except for Dahlen and this year's draftees.

I'd like to see Kylington with Stone next game. I think he's been my favourite so far of the potentials to steal #6.

its not like Megna or Chaput is scoring.
Yeah Canucks actually have more recent 1st rounders in this game than we do.

Nucks have: Virtanen, Goldobin, Boeser and Juolevi
Flames have: Jankowski and Valimaki

Oh Foo is playing. He's going to Stockton if he doesn't pick it up.

Even though the games are meaningless you'd like to see some execution and push back. Opponents just better in same situations so far.

3 or 4 of the 20 guys dressed tonight will be on the roster opening night. Losing sucks but this isn't a cause for alarm.
