Valimaki has a nice shot.
I don't know how he isn't clearly above everyone else competing for that #6D spot. I think a lot of people are just discounting him because he is coming out of Junior.

Valimaki looks impressive. Kind of reminds me of Dougie Hamilton in style

Caveat: It is only preseason. Nonetheless, objectively, getting worked three times in a row by your two biggest rivals is not a positive beginning to the season.

Meh. Not only is it just the pre season, but the games so far have been played largely by the kids. Only dressed one NHL dman, and it's a bottom pairing guy. Sure guys like Backlund, Folik and Stone are dressed, but they've barely been out there.
The guys I was hoping would impress, have impressed. All that matters to me

Yeah, that's not a great goal.

The worst part is: these are Vancouver's spare parts beating alot of our highly touted prospects. Brutal.

Flames are terrible at generating anything. Canucks getting so much offense off counter. Flames just bottled up.

Even for a preseason game and only about five regulars the effort the last two periods has been pretty sad.

Ugh, all I heard today was how the Canucks were icing as bunch of nobodies.
Flames have sucked away another preseason game.

After watching the game tonight and the two games on Monday, it's pretty clear that the Flames "care-level" isn't there.
They don't care if they win or lose. The team is just going through the motions.
The goalies aren't able to save a beach ball though.....
Vegas absolutely destroyed the Canucks and the Flames are losing 5-3 to an even worse roster fielded by the Canucks for this game.
Really have no idea what to conclude from these games.

The result if this game is as meaningful as the last game I played where we changed goalie mid game just to be fair.

Played one period and took the rest of the night off. If this team pisses around with another slow start to the season I will be so pissed off!!!

Boeser, Goldobin, Virtanen and Chatfield are top Canuck prospects though.
its not like Megna or Chaput is scoring.
