Kulak and Bart showing why neither have been able to lock down that last spot. Both should be playing a hell of a lot better considering their job is on the line.

According to nhl.com:
The first Canucks goal had Kylington-Andersson on the ice.

The rest have been Kulak-Bartkowski.

I love how heads up Janko plays. He reach allows him to be very elusive. So far this game has been pretty damn disappointing but at least he has been a bright light.

How do you have the take that I think he is a bust....based on my comment?

Please explain.

Effort like this against A no name Canuck roster Very worried about this season and goaltending looks worse then ever before,

Lol at how short of a leash Bart and kulak are getting, but people were defending Smith and Brouwer with their lives the other night

Gillies has not been bad, but boy did that defense look suspect.

Looking forward to Parsons in the third to see what he can show given that he's likely to face a few more high quality chances against.

I understand that. I like him but as long as that's happening I can't see him playing in NHL. Of course it takes longer for d but that's a current weakness.

Andersson/Kylington. Havent seen Wotherspoon yet this preseason though. Ive never been on the Kulak boat. And Bart is easily out played by the kids making him redundant.

He's a 21 year old sixth overall pick. Last year, he had 1 assist in ten games at the NHL level, and 19 points in 65 games in the AHL.

That is why people think he is a bust.

...what is going on around here? Bartkowski + Kulak existing on the ice together is the problem, not the goaltending. Jeepers.

Bart+Kulak have been on the ice for all of the goals against except for the first one. As a tandem, they are a disaster on skates.

His hockey sense and reach with that 6'5 frame is going to be such an asset this season if he sticks.

I've been trying to focus on him all night tonight and can't really think of any oh is decisions that really struck me as "bad". He has also been involved all over the ice.

I know it's only one game but...

Neither am I, you used the word blame twice, I never.

Gillies is a massive guy but he doesn't use that frame nearly as well as he should. He makes things difficult for himself by wasting movement. For a goalie he's young and has big upside but has some things to figure out.

It's never fair to compare anyone goalie to Kiprusoff but the guy never wasted a step, Gillies needs to learn from that.

no im just saying, people have this impression that he's a bust because he hasn't 'lived up' to his potential yet when Ehlers is already an impact player in the NHL.

ppl forget that he is only 20 yrs old sometimes.

Right now I could see Tree trading for a #6 d-man , or pull another "versteeg" move. Bart has been aweful and while Kulak has been better than him, he still doesn't seem like an everyday bottom pairing d-man.

I still can't see what everyone is so excited about Jankowski. Admittedly, I haven't seen him play much as I don't really follow Stockton. It also could just be weird timing but it seems like every time I am actually watching, he's passing it into guys feet, or to nobody, or bobbling the puck. Just this period since I tuned in he made 3-4 terrible passes. The first half of last game he didn't do anything that I noticed, besides a few giveaways. Rest of the game is foggy.

Yes yes I know it's preseason, and no I'm not freaking out, and no I don't have some personal vendetta against Janko or Feaster. I just have yet to see what the fuss is about. Hope I'm proven wrong.
