This is a huge opportunity for Jon Gillies if he does in fact get the start. Conversely if they do go back to Rittich, he'll be motivated and has bounced back well after losses in whats admittedly a small sample size.

I say go with Gillies and see what he gets you.
I say you go with Rittich because you can't afford to gamble on an unknown. This is as close to a must-win as you can get in February.
Flames need to keep pace if they want to keep the hope alive.
Coyotes have won 4 in a row too, so can't take them lightly.
Gulutzan did say that he'd let Smitty make the call whether he'd suit up for this roadie at all. I imagine he'll want to man the net unless his groin still isn't 100%.

I'd assume it's Gillies tonight. Otherwise Glen is a complete idiot for not pulling him last night and expecting him to immediately bounce back from a blowout.
Oh good, another game! A chance to get right back on the horse and make up for last night.
Lord help this TEAM if we lose this one.
Fixt, its not the forum we have to worry about its the garbage play of a team that on paper is 1000x better than this because we're coached by a group of complete idiots.

hard there. Nothing on Jack Johnson as of yet. Hearing that the @NHLFlames are hanging hard at this point to add a goaltender or top 9 forward. Watching @Avalanche situation closely involving goaltender as some decent offers.
Have to think Smith is out long term if they're looking for a goaltender.
losing your number one goalie is the kiss of death for most teams. The Flames have been playing well they just aren't getting the game breaking plays they need.

Fool me once...
But seriously, are you really expecting him to prove he's not an idiot? lol
