He's clearly not good and was a bad signing to begin with. I was surprised that he was still in the league to tell the truth. Is Hemsky next?

They thought he would be the replacement to Markov. Guess it didn't work out with his second go around there in MTL. I'm sure he could still be a serviceable d-man on the right team.

He's 39 and plays the position where you can least afford to lose a step.

Why do you think he'd still be serviceable? Have you watched him lately?

Oh right....Jagr's 45. I guess it doesn't apply to generational type players.

Everyone preaches patience from fans yet two games in and Bergevin wants to get rid of the guy. Did they not scout the guy at all before they signed him?

I think it's more that Mete come out of no where in training camp and stole that first pairing job. It pushed everyone else down the lineup and unfortunately that means your #6 needs to go.
