Yup, I don’t know about 1st line, second line is not out of reach for Bennett.

They didn’t dump it in, dig it out, ring it around the boards, and get it to the point for a shot with traffic .. that’s for sure

Their reward for this great regular season will likely be Tampa with Kutch miraculously recovered and back in the lineup in round one

Zero chance he is better than Wennberg. 3/4C on that lineup tops.

Following Bennett is at least providing some entertainment over watching our tire fire of a team..

He pretty much had the worst 6 season stretch of any player whose ever played for this team statistically so yes, this assessment is correct. He was not good enough for this team.

Panthers are my team in the East this year. I knew Barkov was good but watching him play really drives home that point. I'm glad Bennett has a new team to start over fresh.

Why do they have Sam with Hubredeau? Doesn't Q know that the best way to develop Sam is to place him with Lomberg and Marchment?

And he'll most likely play with Huberdeau and Duclair rest of the year plus playoffs, they've been their best line in the first two games. Also Q seems to trust Bennett.

And Duclair’s speed really drives back the opposition D.

Yes it's not Sam who's driving the line, it's the other two for sure. Bennett kind of bulldozes around though and makes space.

Florida is starting Spencer Knight tonight in his 1st career NHL game. Things can obviously change projection wise, but he is projected to be a legitimate star goalie in the NHL.

So yet another Coach for Bennett. Looks pretty good to me (small sample size, I know).
so it wasn't the amount of coaches but the quality of them like we've been saying all this damn time!
I will arrange for GG, Peters and Ward to fight me.

Didn't see anything different about Bennett's play in his games with Florida so far.
The goal was a typical "Jam it Home" that we've seen Bennett score time and time again, but those typically don't go in for him. His primary assist came off a shot from the point that deflected off a Lightning player, and the other bounced off his skate during a hit for a secondary assist.
I see Bennett as a really effective player, but I just don't see him ever becoming a huge offensive contributor. I wouldn't be surprised to see him get to 40 points someday, but it was time to move on for the Flames. I really don't see him keeping the point totals up moving forward with the Panthers.

Yeah he probably won’t sustain 1.5 points per game
In other threads, people are posting ES goal scoring stats. Per 60, he would be ahead of 13, 19, and 23
So I would expect to see a boost with Florida over his achievement here, considering multiple factors including utilization, team style of play and linemates
