Is it accurate to say that the AHL one way deals are for Armstrong, Dowling, Laing, Rheault, Severyn and Sylvester?

I believe everyone else in Abby (except Adam Avramenko) are signed to two way deals as per capgeek.

I couldn't find any contract info for Dowling or Severyn.

There was no question that we wanted to add him to our organization and we are thrilled to have him under contract. He thinks the game very well and displays what we consider to be very good hockey sense. He also competes hard every shift and is responsible in all three zones. We look forward to monitoring his progress this year in the WHL.”

Markus Granlund played with his brother tonight on the HIFK top squad and assisted on a goal by Mikael. I don't know how long he's going to stay with the big team, but it's worth mentioning, I guess. Their team doesn't seem to be playing too well (judging by the video, their goalie really isn't helping them either), so it could just be temporary for all I know.

Skip to about 0:58 to see the goal.

Thanks Henry, I never knew you guys had fighting. Is that just a common part of the game now?

Someone else might be able to quantify how often it happens compared to some other time, I don't follow the league much, but fighting isn't anything new or unusual in itself.

Yeah, right now. He's played 3 games with HIFK. His older brother has 12 points in 6 games, so he'll score a few points as long as he plays with him.

I don't know what the long-term plan is for Markus, whether or not he's going to stick with the team for the whole season.

If he keeps turning the puck over leading to goals, he wont stay for long.

Sweet pass on the primary assist though, that takes some special vision.

His brother is quite the player though. Amazing shootout goal.
