Lets not overreact to this game. First game on a roadtrip. Heads just not quite in it. Just a bad one tonight. These happen, and are going to happen a few more times this year. Brodie with possibly his worst game as a flame? don't expect that to continue. Throw it the trash, and come out stronger next game! The Flames have been great for the past several weeks for the most part, so lets not let this one game throw the last several out from our memory.
Refs were an embarrassment at the end there and let the game get way out of hand for the Flames there. Brutal stuff.

Hamonic getting pummeled on the ground in the tunnel was one of the dirtiest things i've seen in years.
And gg reaponds by sending out monahan and gaudreau when it is finally even strength.

Okay guys. Let’s keep this in perspective. We’re 7-3-0 in our last 10 with wins over Washington, Pittsburgh and St. Louis. Were we really expecting to finish the season 65-0 to end the season or not get blown out once? Every team has games like this. We got blown out today, we’re gonna get blown out again at some point. The D was bad, Lack was subpar and outside Johnny, none of the forwards could do anything. Pack up, refocus and come out better in Philly. Have to believe we won’t see Lack in a Flames uni again, Gillies looked decent in limited minutes. Also liked the team didn’t just rollover and take it. Got chippy and don’t mind the penalties taken to make a statement.

I believe the refs legitimately worked the calls to ensure the Flames would be on the PK so Ferland could not be put on the ice justifiably.
They know he'd be ready and waiting if it was even strength or if the Flames were on the PP.
That spearing major penalty call is pathetic and cowardly by the refs.

score is not indicative of where the Flames are at as a team.
