Now there's a hockey trade. I like this one for Anaheim.

Dallas - Brett Ritchie is the "bad" one.

Funny enough, the Dallas Ritchie signed with the Bruins this offseason. That's Brett. He's definitely worse

Nick is the decent Ritchie. Sort of a Bennett lite.

Brett Ritchie has been more of the disappointment.

But now the Bruins have both brothers

a little mixed on this. Not sure which team got better, if either. Kinda feels like a lose-lose. I guess we'll see.

Despite how many cups they have won in recent years, I would argue Boston has had the strongest management of any team in the NHL over the past decade. 3 Stanley Cup final appearances (1 Cup to show), rebuilt on the fly and only missed one playoff in 2014 if I remember correctly, and just solid core players.

Boston is the level to reach in terms of asset management, winning, and culture.

Danton doesn't play a super tough playoff style game. He's a good player, but I can see why the Bruins would want that perceived toughness upgrade for the playoff run.

At least 1 of my 2 teams is doing something exciting this year.

Looks like they are also saving 1ish million for next season as well

Talks must have started on these players as part of the Kase trade.

On paper Ducks are getting the more productive offensive player, but I have a gut feeling that Ritchie breaks out offensively on the Bruins.

Just feels like a guy that will fit well there.

Can't help but feel I would have liked to try Nick here. Boston gave up a good player, so not sure what the comparable would have been for Calgary, but I feel like (given the right price) this is what I'd like to have seen Calgary do.

Imagine if they had drafted Barzal, Connor and Chabot instead of Zboril, Debrusk and Senyshyn in the 2015 draft with their 3 first round picks.

I like this trade for the Bruins, Ritichie will break out offensively there. He was always projected with a Lucic type ceiling and he doesn't come with a $6 million contract. He's going to thrive in Boston.

Heinen is nothing, he is a filler.
