Question for shermanator: Jimmy Stang & I are looking to head north for the April 18 match in Edmonton (We both live in Tuscany, so this drive will only be slightly longer than the one we make for home games )
Will it be possible for us to purchase tickets with or from the Foot Soldiers group, or should we look at getting our own when FC Edmonton begins selling individual games? If it is the latter, which section should be purchase?
We will take care of our own transportation, but will want to be a part of any pre-game/post-game gathering(s).

Last year we had a code to buy tickets in section 101, which was held back for away supporters. The person we worked with last year no longer works at FC Edmonton, so I'm not sure what the approach is this year.
I've got an email into Cavalry to get a new contact for away tickets.

Looks like Tofa Fakunle is trialing with Valour. Best of luck to him. Outside of pace and work rate I don't think he is CPL quality myself, but maybe another club can give him a shot.
Also as for the source, the person who runs CFN works for Cavalry, so I'd say the source is 100% solid.
I can’t remember if there was this option last year or not, but do you know if anything like game packs or half season tickets are something Cavalry are going to do, or is it just season tickets or game day tickets? Looking at the schedule I already know I can only make it to half the games, so don’t want to commit to a full season ticket, but last year ended up going to 8 games and would like to go to that many again, but not pay game day price every time.

I would imagine with the schedule out now they’ll set something up for that. But maybe give the club a call and see if they’ll let you know they’re plans for that.

Rumours floating around that Malonga is in Cavalry camp. Don't think Cavalry need another forward, we need centre backs and full backs.
Team needs defenders and wingbacks for sure, and I’d say more centre mids too (though I suspect Camargo will be taking Buscher’s place)... but Malonga was one of the best players in the league and has real talent. I hope this rumour is true because he adds an awful lot even though a lot of supporters don’t like his perceived effort level.

I agree with Thunderball, I think Camargo will take on a bit of the Büscher role and sit a little deeper than he played last year which will take him out of the attacking rotation a bit. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Luca play as a 10 either. Malonga is a frustrating player at times but he has that poacher instinct and I’ll be happy to see him back.
Need fullbacks now.

IIRC Camargo played a deep lying playmaker role with TFC II. Wouldn't be a bad idea.
Mo Farsi, who will be in camp, would check off both the need for a RB and the U21 requirement. Not sure why they wouldn't sign Serban to the same role, but maybe his recovery isn't going as well as they hoped.

And a teaser of all of the kits (minus Ottawa). Based on the two teasers, I'm going to guess that the sash remains, but rather than a solid sash, we get diagonal pinstripes. I've seen the Forge kit, which was leaked, and it is absolutely atrocious.
