I'm actually a little disappointed the Flames are at home on Friday.
Mostly, I'm curious to see when my Walmart pre-order arrives. If it's not there on Friday, I'm just going to go buy a copy Saturday morning at Walmart and then return the shipped copy when it arrives.
Anyone played golf story on switch? It's got very good reviews and press and I like golf. No brainer or no?
I'm about 5 hours in. It's fun, but I find becuase the golf courses are 2D, the variety doesn't really shine through. I don't find it very challenging. The only ones I've failed are when I didn't quite get the instructions. I like the level up aspect, but I dunno, I'm a huge Mario Golf fan so this is falling a bit flat. I'll keep going with it, but I'm not sure I'd call it a no brainer. Maybe when it is on sale? With Odyssey coming, I'd be tempted to hold off.

I had the physical copy of NBA 2K18 for Switch pre-ordered - didn't ship until Monday night for the Tuesday release date - didn't end up getting it until Friday.
I will probably go get a copy of Mario at Wal-Mart Friday morning and then return my other copy when it comes later the next week.
Did anyone else preorder Mario Odyssey from Bestbuy when it was on sale for 20% off promotion? They had it listed at 100 but later the game itself dropped to 80. Right now my order has stayed the same at the price of 83.99. Should they should be taking the promotional amount off the lowered price?

Shipped today, expected delivery is Monday. Crossing my fingers that Canada Post actually pulls off the release day delivery on this one.
I preordered Mario back in March or April from Amazon, mine is supposed to ship Oct 30th? Usually they ship the day before so it shows up on release, kind of annoyed I can't play it this weekend.

AC:Origins and Wolfenstein 2....on top of the just released Destiny 2 PC. I love this time of year, but no idea why publishers don't try and space this out a bit

Just confirming that buying a second copy from Wal-mart and returning the one that I pre-ordered online after it arrives is guaranteed to work? They don't match the specific copy of the game or anything?
I don't know when my Wal-mart copy is being shipped. I checked the status of it but because I also bought some gummy worms to get over $50 for free shipping it says the product was shipped back in June.

Just looked over at Metacritic and wow, that's a lot of 10/10 reviews in that list. The 97 it has right now ties it with Breath of the Wild. Very impressive year for Nintendo.
