How about:
. Rush - subdivisions
. Wang Chung - wake up, stop dreaming
. Snap - the power
. Eminem - lose yourself

Was listening to the Springsteen live intro to the River on the way to work, and its an amazing listen.

Not only is this intro bad ####ing ass, you can misinterpret the opening lyrics as "Masturbate! Masturbate!". So yeah, obviously amazing song start

A bunch of Slayer but for some classics:

It's between South Of Heaven or Seasons In The Abyss may be their best Intro

A little simpler, but amazing live but Blind by Korn at woodstock 99. insane.

and for a little out there but awesome Skeletonwitch - Cleaver Of Souls

Deadhead-Devin Townsend

Outstanding opening guitar riff and long intro with fantastic vocals 2 minutes in.

Listening to "Unknown Pleasures" this afternoon. The drums leading into that bassline intro to She's Lost Control is so good.

24 Hour Party People is a must watch for any music fan, but especially those who are fans of Factory Records. This clip shows how Martin Hannett (played by Andy Serkis) recorded that intro.

Not even a big fan of Pantera but the first minute and a half of cemetery gates sends shivers down my spine

In addition the above "Fade to Black'

I'll throw in "Churchill's Speech/Aces High" - Iron Maiden

I'll link the Live After Death version and a crappy recording from their current European tour (note: I hope they bring this set list to North America).

Spoiler!

Spoiler!

After all these years it still gets the adrenaline running every single time.

Yep. I'd throw in "As I Am" from Train of Thought. Really the first 4 songs on Train of Thought are likely my favourite string of DT songs.

Spoiler!
