Marchand continues to be a classless POS, as shown in that interview. You are a millionaire athlete being asked to do an interview after you won a game buddy. Man up and at least pretend to be a professional, not a f’in teenager. Loser.

I'm pretty tolerant of Marchand's act but for some reason that dickishness really rubbed me the wrong way.

For context:
“Regarding Marchand's interview with @SNkylebukauskas, this reporter asked him on-ice prior to Game 2 if Marchand needed to sharpen his skates in order to break someone's stick. Marchand skated away after that was asked.”

Rask, asked if he thinks it’s important to be known as a Big Game Goalie:
“Yeah, well. It’s better than sucking.”

That’s the thing. They are likely laughing in the dressing room at all the uppity hockey fans getting all upset.

If anything people should be laughing at how upset Marchand seemed to be because the CBC reporter made a joke comment about it. The guy was acting like he had asked some personal question.
I never got the big deal made about the Marchand stick stomping. It was a very Marchand thing to do.

Always appreciate Kelly Hrudey's honesty about players. Just ripping Marchand for being an immature dummy.
Essentially: "He's just so immature. And he's not near as clever as he thinks he is."
Good on ya, Kelly. Marchand is just an unlikable, scumbag knob.

The panel really went off on Marchand there holy smokes. A bit off the deep end IMO. They are just smarmy answers to some questions, relax. Nobody gives a rats ass about your boring questions anyway, honestly. They are always boring, cliche and frankly a waste of time 99.9% of the time.
Ron maclean wants him fined. Wtf? For giving 1 word answers? What are you smoking these days Ron?

Ron's comment was rididulous. Fined for what? Is there something in the CBA that designates that he must provide CBC with answers that are satisfactory to them? And the saltiness of the panel was over the top, like do these guys actually believe that anyone really cares about their fluff interviews with any player? The fake indignation was pathetic, all four of them embarrassed themselves.

That Kyle bukakeis reporter is kind of grating - and that's how I feel watching him on TV. I wonder what the players must think about him. Seems like a real knob. How did that guy even get a job as a reporter covering hockey with hnic?

Graduated from SAIT like 3 years ago. I think he's great tbh

From sait to hnic in 3 years? Did he play in the NHL, or NCAA or whl? What do you like about him? He has no insight. Asks dumb questions.

The second one to Marchand in that clip was the first, ahem, questionable question I'd seen him ask. Usually I think he asks pretty good ones, but it's a matter of personal interpretation I guess. I'd never actively disliked him so that's something
And yeah I don't know the story but I heard that he graduated from SAIT three years ago. Maybe iceman90 can confirm? Not 10000% sure but he sure looks that part
