So the Jays first HR is hit by Erik Kratz. Pretty sure nobody had him in the pool to do so.

The play was pretty bad. I still can't believe that baseball bounced like that off the plate.

What are the odds I look back 4 months from now and wish I cut my losses after this game? Probably pretty good but I always end up cheering and watching and then regretting it later.

Dickey tuned up opening day, Reyes injured, poor defensive play... hang on a sec, gotta go check something... nope, I did in fact not travel back in time a year.

I wonder if Dickey is going to go 10 starts before he elevates his game to average again this year.

So Reyes to 15 day DL.

God, Toronto really is a loser sports city.

This is going to be the season to a tee. So much relies on Reyes at the top of the order and a ho-hum rotation being exceptional. One of those is already on a 15 day DL list, and the rotation better be better than opening day.

How did Miami fare in the trade? Its interesting to see how some GM's spoke out and said they didn't get that bad of a deal when everyone thought Toronto fleeced em a year ago, just wondering how their returns are.

Henderson Álvarez did throw that no hitter last season.

Is it time to call Boras about Stephen Drew? Because having a Ryan Goins + Isturiz/Diaz/Kawasaki combo in your everyday line-up is not going to cut it. As much as I love Jose Reyes, the guy has a GLASS hamstring.

Don't worry - we get to sit on the notion of "its only April" for only another 29 days until everyone can stick a fork in the team once again. It truly is shameful that this organization went into the year so ill prepared rotation wise given the talent it possess at many positions.

Prove me wrong Jays.
