Survivor Australia: Titans vs Rebels - Jan 29th! (Episodes & Survivor Pool)

This was such a rushed pool (dam schedule change) so were just going with the flow.

EldrickOnIce is left to go and can pick from whoever is left.

The rest of the contestants go into a random pool for second chances. So if you lose a contestant then a randomized leftover could be added back to you. But I'll do a little twist. I'm going to add 3 "nothing" spots in the randomizer and if it hits one of those then you remain as is (a survivor down). Also, only one second chance per player. I figure that's only fair. Obviously if any leftover players are eliminated then they are removed from the pool. If anyone has objections then let me know.

How often do they air Australian Survivor episodes? When I began watching last season it seemed like there were multiple episodes weekly. Am I right?

Yep multiple per week.

This week it’s Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday

Remaining weeks is Sunday through Tuesday

24 - 25 episodes, so seven weeks - I assume

Episode 1 results!

Tough first few days for the Titans. It appears they are all used to being the boss but no one wants to step up. Frankie & Nathan then try to spearhead Jess and were very confident of their plan. Unfortunately the braun left the brains to themselves and that plan came to a swift end.

First night blindside sends Frankie home! With the very first pick of the pool, EldrickOnIce takes the first hit. Fortunately, receives Mark from the remaining survivors.

Why can't Survivor US treat the show the exact same way? They could even do the three episodes a week format.

Episode 2 Results


Titans finally get a win! Unfortunately, it was for the wrong challenge. They absolutely showed their strength in the reward challenge but organization seems to their downfall, just barely losing in the elimination challenge. Although, it appears they may be getting their act together.

And then came the Tribal Counsel. Where, as far as i can remember, its the first time I've seen a survivor throw themselves completely under the bus by admitting to everything - believing she was the mastermind. Man I love this game!!

Jessica is (finally) voted off and I (thankfully) get a new player. Enter Valeria.

I've really enjoyed the season so far but one of my players has to be the douchiest player in recent memory. Guess i'll just ride it out! The product as always is just vastly superior to the US version.

What I love about the Ozzies is they actually vote out the right players "most of the time"!
Breaking up the power couple was the right thing to do and it sends a message, especially for the players who threw the challenge! Peta was smug and she ended up taking her idol home with her LOL.

Day 3 recap: Another great day of challenges in Survivor AU. Titans kill it in the “mystery can” challenge. And seriously, do the contestants not ever watch the show? Never ever, throw a challenge. Which is exactly what the power players of the Rebels decide to do. So Titans take the immunity challenge while Pita & Alex laughingly think they have the vote all wrapped up.

Interestingly, have we not been here before? It appears the rebels took a page out of the Titans book. Power player setting up weak player for elimination, Power players get too cocky, Brainy players catch on and create a reversal, Power player blindsided. Might as well replace Frankie’s name with Pita.

So, with that, Sultan takes a hit but amazingly gets Winna as a replacement player.

(I’m quite shocked. We haven’t had a “nothing” drawn yet in the randomizer. It’s going to get tough from now on, I think. Every time I spin it, I put the 1st, middle and last number as “nothing”. Odds are are now 50/50)

Man, if anyone can replicate what Mark did, a few years back…. Still the best survivor winner IMO. Just pure manipulation. Although, Kirby is doing a good job of it, early on.

no the "minority" didn't turn on you...even in defeat she is so cocky she doesn't even realize what has happened. And I agree in the US version those four idiots would coast at least into the merge.
