I basically pointed this out to a new friend of mine that is huge into homeopathy and has spent thousands of dollars on treatments she is convinced work.
She doesn't talk to me anymore Apparently the truth can ruin a chance at friendship. Oh well, I probably dodged a bullet :/
Become a homeopathic friend. The less time spent with them, the closer the friendship.

Little off topic sorry but doesn't it seem like that is becoming a real problem in today's world? If you don't agree with me I can't be your friend or even associate or hear your comments, your wrong I'm right now I will never talk to you again? Sorry for derailing a little bit.

a bit, but there are something you can't overlook.
I honestly don't think I could be friends with an anti-vaxxer.
that's a bit more than just disagreeing about provincial politics, for example.

It is more than a difference of opinion; it is a matter of willfully ignoring facts, evidence, and truth. It would be like being friends with a Flat-Earther.
Its equivalent to having a economics teacher who's a freeman on the land.

The school principal at the time, Brian Quistberg, told the hearing that multiple students informed him Sullivan was at the clinic attempting to discourage students from getting vaccinated.
Quistberg also told the hearing that, prior to the clinic, students and parents had expressed concerns to him about Sullivan's repeated discussion about vaccines in his classroom.
Quistberg said he had notified the school board after an incident earlier in 2015 involving a student presentation about vaccines.
An email Quistberg received from the student's parent, presented at the hearing, said that Sullivan "interjected early and often" in the presentation and "argued the information was incorrect."
The email said Sullivan's "anger level escalated to the point that [the student] left the classroom in tears."

"We believe the mother's immune response to herpes simplex virus 2 (HSV-2) could be disrupting fetal central nervous system development, raising risk for autism," said lead author Milada Mahic, a researcher at the Norwegian Institute of Public Health.
The causes of autism spectrum disorder remain poorly understood, and researchers believe it arises from some combination of genetic and environmental influences.
As many as one in 68 U.S. children suffer from autism, a neurodevelopmental disorder which can impair social and communication skills.
About one in five American women has genital herpes, which is incurable and is typically spread through sex.
That 1 in 5 number is also disputed too because I believe it only refers to women who have had an outbreak and not everyone who carries HSV-2 has an outbreak and the majority of carriers don't know that they're carriers. It's actually kind of interesting because one of the reasons there's been very little appetite to develop a vaccine for herpes is because it's not seen as a major health concern, so it'd be kind of ironic if they ended up developing a vaccine for herpes now because it could prevent autism.

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.
I wonder what they consider 'immunized' in these reports, as the vaccine for Pertussis is said to be only good for 5-10 years... I would think the 77% immunization rate is very high.
The measles have caused 37 deaths in Europe so far in 2018.

More than 41,000 people have been infected in the first six months of 2018, leading to 37 deaths.
Last year there were 23,927 cases and the year before 5,273. Experts blame this surge in infections on a drop in the number of people being vaccinated.
“We have seen a number of measles outbreaks in England which are linked to ongoing large outbreaks in Europe,” said Dr Mary Ramsay, head of immunisation at Public Health England. “The majority of cases we are seeing are in teenagers and young adults who missed out on their MMR vaccine when they were children.”
