I sure hope you are right, but it's much easier to be mediocre than to be awful. Especially when you consider that Zary and Pospisil have given Kadri a big boost, Pelletier will probably give Huberdeau a boost, and Kuzmenko and Sharangovich will probably both play with a chip on their shoulders in their contract year. Plus, if Conny is to be believed, we are expecting to receive some mid-20s NHLers in any Hanifin, Markstrom and maybe Tanev trades. We will not be great, but way too good to be awful.

All the Flames have to do to avoid the 11-15 range, and get into the top 10, is trade Markstrom.
