Random Software Question
Is there such a program that will take what I type of Microsoft Word (or any other program) and will turn the text into an MP3 format that I could play back as an audio "book"?
Basically I am going to be taking a test and would love to listen to my notes while I am working out, not the best motivational music but it would come in handy.
Thanks!

quick google
http://www.naturalreaders.com/
On that note, has anyone tried using Windows Vistas feature where you can give it commands (open IE, MS Word, etc) and it does it, and it can enter text into Notebook?

Damn it's $100 for the MP3 conversion one....is it really worth it for the one time.

Try googling "text to audio" to find more

You might want to try getting just a simple audio program to convert into Mp3s. Just play it back in one program, while recording what's playing back in the audio program. I'm sure you can find something pretty cheap that can do that.

As opposed to some fancy 'text to audio', why not just recite the notes back into your computer yourself? You could record your voice as an MP3 and be done with it.

Well 1) I have no idea how to do that 2) I was hoping to have some hot spanish girl read it back to me
Seriously though I have thought about that but I just figured since I typed all my notes out already it would be a few clicks of a button and be done with it.
Maybe I will just pay the money who knows when that could come in handy
