Wow, call me soft, but I didn't really like the Dean promo tonight where he blamed Roman's leukemia on kharma for all of the bad things he did when they were in the shield, and that'd he'd have to basically deal with god on that one.
I get that its entertainment, but man, that just felt over the line.
Nia getting a mega push, she's terrible at every aspect of her job and she crushed the face of the hottest commodity in the company and she gets a push.
There are two types of heat
1) The good type, the fans hate you within your character and within your story line, and they're willing to buy tickets and PPV's to see you get your butt kicked
2) WCW heat - You suck at everything you do, the fans see you getting a undeserved push, and you're getting boo'd because the fans want you fired, or shot into the sun, you don't push these guys or girls. Basically the fans are pretty much hating Nia Jax the person and performer, not the wrestler, and they won't pay to watch you work.

I just got done watching the WWE Chronicle on Dean Ambrose. To me, this is a really well done introspective of Dean Ambrose.
It covers his return from his injury and infection to his arm that almost killed him, to Roman Reigns announcement to his betrayal of Seth Rollins. Wrapping up in the desert about a week ago.
The first half was excellent as you see Dean struggling to work his way back, the second half was fascinating because to me he was completely in Kayfabe about his rejection of the shield and his contempt for the fans who he gave up his body for.
To me this was almost like watching the Brian Pillman loose Cannon character. For those who don't remember, Brian Pillman reinvented himself as a madman after reading a book called the Big Con. He decided to con the fans, the wrestlers, and pulled off one of the greatest cons of all time when he convinced Eric Bischop to release him from his WCW story line for the sake of story realism and promptly signed with the WWE.
This has the same kind of feel as Dean tries to con the fans with the realism of his break up and beat down of Seth Rollins.
There's no doubt that Dean is smart and creative and he's put a lot of thought into this special to the point of letting loose on the camera man.
Its designed not so much as a stand alone special as a companion piece to his feud with Rollins and breakup of the Shield.
Definitely a must watch.

That's an absolute shame. He was one of my favourites in NJPW, but that was an absolutely stupid bump he took. I hope, if there's any positive out of this, that it shows some of the younger guys that they don't need to be complete idiots to get over.

The Big Dog Roman Reigns has been absent from our television screens since his tragic announcement back in October, informing the WWE Universe that the leukemia he’s been battling for the last 11 years has come out of remission. Reports indicated that Roman began treatment recently, and that his path to recovery will be a difficult one.

I don't know if he mellowed in his later years, but he's going to stand as one of the tragic figures of Wrestling. A guy that had it all, money, fame, a huge reputation and threw it all away. A guy that pushed to hard and lost his health. a person that didn't have great standings in both his personal and professional life, a violent belligerent unapologetic bully and abuser.
Every new wrestler should be sat down and told the story of Tommy Billington so they don't repeat his mistakes.
He comes across as a troubled soul, I hope that he rests in peace.

It does say a lot when you don't see the usual twitter flood when a wrestler dies.
Its sad that he pretty much died either forgetten or unliked.

I have no idea how to embed tweets but Becky just killed Charlotte again.
This time about her missing a month of smack down for what I assume was getting new implants.

I hope Becky makes an appearance in Winnipeg tomorrow night. Originally she was suppose to wrestle Charlotte but I imagine now it's Asuka.

Has anyone ever got a WWE travel package? Me and my two nieces want to go to SummerSlam next year in Toronto. We're considering the travel package to eliminate the stress of trying to get tickets for all four events that week and book a hotel close the arena.
I know if you do a Google search there's alot of discussions about it but I'm looking for a review from a Canadian to see just how much more it ends up being than doing everything separate and if there were any extra fees for not being from the US. I'm cool with paying a little extra for the convenience of having someone else book everything for me besides my flight but only to an extent.

Just saw on TV they advertised the smackdown crew in Vancouver on Feb 2 next year (Saturday) and the Raw crew in Medicine Hat on the Sunday. I'm making a guess that means the two TV shows will be in Calgary and Edmonton. Who knows though? They might just be going to Seattle.
Last night's house show was fun btw. Daniel Bryan bringing the old school heeling.
