Nope we saw Boba Fett at the end of the one episode. Even though it could just be a really old Clone, he'd be something like 80 by the time of the events of the Mandalorian.
I would love to see the Mando stuck wearing that armor and Bobba coming to collect.
They made mention that the sand dragon they killed in the first episode had been feasting on a sarlak and that was why it was so big I thought I heard. Maybe that is why Boba escaped.
Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau should have written the sequel trilogy.
I've said it before, but they should just be given the reins to everything Star Wars now.
In one of the Disney Gallery episodes, Favreau says that making Mando was like if you were a kid and your older brother took all the cool action figures and just left you with the weird figures of the side characters ... but he also somehow left you with the cool Boba Fett figure.
Well, I'd say it's time to give them the whole toy box.

Another excellent episode! I thought Boba Fett would only have a brief cameo, but it looks like he'll play a much bigger role in these last couple of episodes. Sucks that we're almost finished another season. It's gonna be a painfully long wait for S3.
And how great was it to see Slave 1. I felt like I was 9 years old again watching that.
I assume next week will just be breaking Bill Burr out of whatever prison he's in, then the finale will be an all-out assault on the Moff's ship. Next week's episode is directed by the same guy who did last season's prison break episode.
I wonder if we'll get a reappearance from Bo-Katan's crew or Ahsoka in the finale? Also, did Grogu get in touch with any Jedi ... and if he did, will any show up for the rescue mission?
I loved the shots of Boba smashing the Stormtroopers' helmets with the Gaffi stick.

My expectation is this, they'll either form a team and assualt the cruiser and get their asses handed to them. Or they'll assault the cruiser and Grogu won't be there, Moff Gideon will fight the Mando and lose but just as we get that sense of victory a Super Star Destroyer will come out of Lightspeed and we'll see the back of Thrawns head looking out the bridge window.
There's no way in my mind that we see the return of the Child. We also might get the hint of who the Jedi is in the last minute of the season.

I don't remember, does Mando know that Bo-Katan is looking for Moff Gideon, or are they all just going to show up and be like, "what are you doing here"?
I just realized, in the finale we could see Boba Fett (originated in the movies -- well, technically the Holiday Special), Bo-Katan (originated in the animated series), and Mando (originated in the streaming series) all fighting together.
I also predict that after spending so much time with Boba and Bo-Katan, Mando will remove his helmet in front of other people in the finale.

I doubt Boba is linked to Bo-Katan at this point. I expect he will remove his helmet in the finale because Gideon is going to park it in the cheap seats.
I can't see a story resolution of them getting the Child back, it wouldn't make much sense to me, I also expect a key member of the team that he recruits is going to die or more then one. And the Child is going to end up on Exogol.
I'm more convinced then ever that Gideon is First Order, or the pre-genesis first order, though a part of me thinks he might be Final Order.
I also think that he's trying to build the clone Palpatine body. But somehow something will go wrong or he'll be robbed of the Child Donor and that's why its in the rotting stage its in in the final movie.

I also love that this series has a lot of shades of Gray. In the ESB and the ROTJ Boba was evil, he was labeled as evil. I mean how can you like a guy with a ship named Slave 1.
But here they continue the Boba Fett from TCW, a honorable man, who lives and dies by contracts and his word.

No, not yet, but Boba has sworn to help Mando get Grogu back and Bo-Katan is pursuing Gideon to get the Darksaber back, so it would make sense for them to all come together in the finale.

Yup, and hate each other, Bobba's father at one time was Mandalore, Bo covets that title and that's why she wants the Dark Sabre. I wouldn't be surprised to see Bobba turn on her.

So then was Bubble Feet a huge Timothy Olyphant fan too? Why’d he let buddy traipse around with his armour but then get all giddy up when mando had it?
