Exactly, and with junior/college seasons likely being truncated at best, the players available in the 2021 draft will be harder to peg. Some of the guys who would ordinarily rise could be overlooked, which could make the 2021 draft a bit richer in the later rounds. Given their history, Oilers braintrust will probably fixate on the present, and give the Flames a potentially more valuable asset.
