Gaudreau, Ferland, Monahan, Tkachuk, Hamilton, Hathaway are all guys on pace to smashing their career year totals and or already have, Backlund had his highest consideration ever for the Selke under Gulutzan, Smith has been all world for this time under GG, Gaudreau/Monahan this year have been nothing short of spectacular for this club and the fact that we complain about players like that sometimes ~ and Im saying you do Locke; I just am meaning in general at CP when you see guys like Gaudreau or Monahan get complained about ~ its shocking to me.
Sure guys like Brouwer, Bennett and Brodie have struggled under Gulutzan but every coach has players like these that they have to coach a different way or never seem to be able to get what they should out of them but Gulutzan has had many stellar personal performance years out of a good majority of the players on this team and he should be at least somewhat recognized for this looking past his foibles.
I get some of the dislike for GG at times; I've been there with many when he has frustrated us with decisions but this notion that players don't excel under Gully seems a little unfair to the guy at this point.
I realize it was my suggestion for Bobby Ryan that spurred all of this and I hate to derail a topic but after seeing so much negativity about GG; admittedly from myself at times, I had to step up and recognize some of the success from GG too and there are definitely some.
