I'm loving that the #3 goalie for EDM is gone. The worst goaltending in the division just got worse. And its not like it couldn't have got much worse either.

Not even worried a little. Carolina has 3 goalies on their roster. They will be waiving one.

Not a requirement... I'd have to think with the taxi squad that some teams will just use roster spot 21 or 22 for a 3rd goalie (or anyone else they just don't want to expose). It's no different than being on the taxi squad anyway.
In this case though, if they do waive one, it would likely be Reimer - not entirely sure that's "better" for you (do you even have the salary cap room to pick him up?).
UPDATE: As Toonage pointed out, Nedeljkovic placed on waivers - I thought he had already gone through. That's a good "futures" goalie for someone to grab.

I could see maybe them giving a contract for Sparks as their 3rd. Goalie is here in the province and would not need any quarantine, unlike someone that is picks off waivers.
