The Uffington Horse is a petroglyph in England - the design was used on the XTC album English Settlement.

As OP I will respond- I don't think anyone is very impressed with any level of society's ability to poorly draw a cat on the side of a hill...

Its more that there is by definition a diminishing number of undiscovered large historical finds. It provides insight and context of who was here before us.

It's also a nice reminder that humans existed in South America prior in the BC years, something which isn't a surprise to many, but people tend to forget there were well organized and large cities on this side of the Atlantic.

In summary, is anyone expecting you to be super impressed by a poorly drawn cat on the side of a hill? No

Just interesting/cool to some. If its not to you, that is fine, different people find different things interesting.

For example (before the Toltecs and Aztecs),

Quote:
At its zenith, perhaps in the first half of the first millennium (1 CE to 500 CE), Teotihuacan was the largest city in the pre-Columbian Americas, with a population estimated at 125,000 or more, making it at least the sixth-largest city in the world during its epoch.

CPG grey did a video slightly touching this topic which kind of open my eyes to how ignorant I was regarding early development on this hemisphere
