There will be a big argument about whether this is the death of art, or is it the opening of art to a greater set of people.
I know I'd love to be able to draw/paint etc. But I suck at it. This would be helpful. I'd be terrible at writing a book, but I feel I have great ideas. Maybe an AI gets the first draft done of your ideas.

Is all AI art this moody? Some really awesome images but they are homogeneous in their own way.
Also, can you get AI to illustrate an air guitar solo?
Midjourney definitely has its own house style, which leans heavily toward the moody, with certain colour schemes and angles (you can see here how much it likes people faced away from the viewer, and teal and orange/pink colour schemes). You can prompt it away from that by describing the sort of mood you want, but I think that this was likely just putting in the lyrics without trying to shift the style at all, which at least gives it some stylistic continuity between images.

I have a buddy who loves coming up with screenplay ideas. He's taken to writing a prompt, then using the resulting images to take him down different creative paths. It's kinda neat to see, really.

This guy is using AI to simulate a world-conquering game with his chatroom on YouTube. They select an action, say "Germany invades France to steal their croissants" and AI will write a script detailing how that would play out, using whatever inputs you give them.
