Don't think that's enough for a stud RFA-aged #1D like Slavin.

Pick is likely late and a full draft away. Bemstrom has a great contract but also hasn't proven much yet. Lots of risk for a proven RFA like Slavin, in my opinion.

Needs to be a 2nd or 2nd round level prospect going back to make it not vetoable IMO

I used OEL who is same rating and age range as value. He went for Arizona 2022 1st this week. So I sent a 1st and added a decent young prospect.

But if it’s not viewed as a fair deal I have no issue pulling it off the table.

Like most people here, I feel like this is close enough to understand it, but there is a piece missing. When I started in this particular league, it took some time to get a feel for the increased value of RFA players, high end picks and what is considered a blue chip prospect. I would send it back for a little tinkering, but a big piece doesn't need to be added. What feels like a 'medium' add, and it's good. Whether that's a roster player that isn't core, or a 'B' or high 'C' prospect, that would be for them to figure out. Not back breaking for Montreal to add a tweak.

I gotta agree with Goffie here. Opinions vary on values but i think its close enough not to make a big deal about it.

I found it really helpful when my first trade was rejected. It really let me set a better measure in my head of what the league felt was valuable. It might be close, but if we're going to be nitpicky to help out a new manager, now is the time.

I think OEL has a lot less value than Slavin. Don't really think it's that close at all.

OEL is a UFA-aged defenseman on the decline and is playing the least since his rookie year in 2010-11.

Slavin is probably a top-10 defender in the league.

I think the 2 years younger Slavin is makes him more valuable than OEL given how CPHL contracts work

I don't think you need to add much here Goffie, but for me to vote yes there would need to be a prospect or another pick

It's one of those young player + prospect + pick type deals IMO

Slavin having up to 5 years of RFA contract dollars is indeed the biggest difference between him and OEL.
Needs a better prospect or something added.

Florida — if this gets rejected, I have an offer that I'd like to make to you for Slavin. Sent it your way.

It's alright but I still don't love it for Florida at all. Remaining "no."
