It is a parking lot in the neutral zone. Flames need more desperation and potentially the D activated more. A good couple shifts to get the crowd into it and we are off to the races.

Stars were 29th in the league in 5 on 5 goals and the Flames are completely down to their level, outscored 1-0 at 5 on 5 in 4 periods. Garbage

Good thing is I think Sutter is going to do that thing he does and jumpstart them.

Its a learning process for this core. Working the bugs out from past years is Sutter's next project with these guys.

And I'm sure he was fully anticipating this hurdle. He watched them prior to taking over.

I'm not too concerned.

They looked a bit jittery, and they were flat for 5 minutes after the goal, but not a terrible period. The PP looks dangerous and Gaudreau, Lindholm, Tkachuk, and Anderson look amped.
