It seems as if MJK's "Call Out" thread created some chatter and got things moving. Still haven't heard a peep from one GM and last we checked he hasn't checked in yet either but thats a tale for another time.
Is another young stud scorer on his way to San Jose? It certainly looks that way... Sources say that Jared McCann might be the odd man out in SJ after being demoted to the 4th line after the Mangiapane acquisition.
Will Pettersson ever get back to the 2nd line?
is MJK crazy to be trading so much sitting pretty in the West?

TB Lightning are rumored to be considering a retool/rebuild if their next 3 games don’t go well. They have fallen 9 points out of a playoff spot. Their next few games, against the Leafs, Panthers and Capitals will be crucial to determine this season’s fate.
The rumored players available include Giroux, Burns, Johnson, Koskinen, Haula among others, though it is believed that they are going to wait for a few days before officially putting the players up on the market.

Matt Dumba has been a healthy scratch for the past 6 games, with Philly winning all 6.
Speculation has it that if the Flyers can beat division rival Carolina tomorrow, pushing that streak to 7, GMJD would be open to moving the young, 72 rated D-man.

With the recent slump, rumour has it that the low on cap Hurricanes are in the market to acquire a goalscorer and have been dangling a trio of prospects to secure one

Don't do it. Drop another spot in the conference and your first round match up consists of battle with Connor, Leon and Darnell. That sounds as good as a first round bye.

Doug is smart. He realizes if he can somehow get a matchup with the Flyers it is the equivalent of playing the NHL Leafs in the playoffs.
