You know who else had a bust of a weekend (or last few days) was Sophia Kenin. After losing at the Aussie Open, she lost to unranked Aussie teenager Olivia Gadecki leaving Bianca as the top seed.

Well, we're going to lose a Canadian in women's doubles action today as Sharon Fichman/Giuliana Olmos take on Leylah/Heather Watson.

That has to be the biggest win of Bills /Sabres fan and daughter of Bills owner Terry Pegula as Jessica Pegula knocks off Elina Svitolina in three sets.

Agreed. She could have beat #19 a few days ago. She certainly belongs.

I was keeping an eye on Bianca’s match versus Brengle at Philip Island. It had ups and downs, including her taking the first set to a tiebreaker after facing set points. She ended up winning 7-6, 4-6, 6-3. She’s facing Zarina Diyas next.

In happy Nadal news, Rafa has now won 33 straight sets at a Grand Slam, the record is 36 set by some guy named Roger.

Uncle Toni wasn't alone, Patrick Mouratoglou (coach of Zverev in addition to Serena Williams) was also questioning the severity of Novak's injury. It makes for an interesting quarter-final match later tonight (early Tuesday morning).

Nadal talked about how he played with the same injury Djokovic currently has, at the 09 US Open and how the tear grew from 6mm to like 26mm from playing with it

Djokovic is a guy who plays with an edge. He's almost bi-polar. He needs people against him. He needs to be the victim.

Oh woe is me, I didn't mean to hit the lineswoman and got disqualified at the US Open, a tournament I should have won.

Oh woe is me, the conditions were fast and to my advantage at the fall French Open but Nadal played like a man possessed and now he's one more ahead of me.

Oh woe is me, now I'm hurt against Fritz while up 2 sets in a tournament I should always win. Nadal is probably going to win now and be another one ahead of me.

And then it's the French Open again....

Why do things keep happening to me!?

I don't believe that Djokovic faked injury against Fritz in sets 3 and 4 but he just checked out feeling sorry for himself. But then came the 5th set and he just buckled down and won. And he's going to try and will himself to a title the rest of the way, while still whining about it.
