I'm way more impressed by the efficiency by than the total, but each is more impressive when supported by the other. 54 points on 24 field goal attempt. 2.25 points per field goal attempt!

Sucks I missed the game. FVV is a player Torontonians love to cheer for. Silent and plays hard. I'm happy he got it.

Raptors have signed Bobby Webster to a multi-year contract extension. Webster is an excellent GM and has been really important to the Raptors' moves going back to before the championship. Given that Ujiri's status is uncertain, it's really important to have him locked up. I'd be surprised to see Masai move to president with a different team but wouldn't be surprised to see him leave to do something different, in which case promoting Webster to president and Tolzman to GM would be totally fine.

The Warriors, with nobody taller than 6'7", put up 147 on the Mavericks.

Mavs have to be one of the most disappointing teams this year, even ignoring their poor win/loss record. Last year they were so fun, this year any time I watch them they just seem uninspired.

On the other side, I'm enjoying the Wiggins redemption arc, as he learns how to play winning basketball within a system in GS. Not needing to carry any offensive load has allowed him to be a much more competitive defensive player.

So Durant is unable to start due to health and safety protocols, gets cleared and comes off the bench late in the 1st quarter and plays 19 minutes, then gets pulled again in the 3rd due to health and safety protocols again.

Weird. Still need more info but I hope the NBA didn't screw this one up.

Chris Boucher blocking 3's is one the best things in the NBA right now.

Yeah, it's got to be someone Durant had close contact with that tested positive; if it was Durant himself they'd probably shut the game down right away as there's no way he didn't have close contact with his teammates.

How would they get word that someone close to him tested positive though? I guess this is no big deal but it was a bizarre turn of events.

The league has a couple tiers of associated people who are subject to daily testing by the league. It could be someone in one of those extended tiers who tested positive and who had contact with Durant but not with the rest of the team.

That's a big win. Great to have this and Fred's big game as huge confidence boosters going forward.

Yeah, might be one of the biggest in the season thus far; they did such a great job shutting down the Brooklyn stars even without OG. That was a really winning style of basketball.

Just curious if you still feel this way. Personally, I've enjoyed the last couple games a lot and wouldn't want to break up this group just yet.

League statement on KD
https://twitter.com/user/status/1357887705233948672

That's weird:
original test is inconclusive -> Durant held out
review of original test -> Durant is allowed to play
additional test comes back positive -> Durant is out again

What was the point of reviewing the original test, if they're overturning their original decision without waiting for an additional test? (Other than ratings, which we know is the answer here...)

Nah, still the same approach for me. As a fan I don't want to trade Lowry and would love him to play the rest of his career as a Raptor, but if the organization thinks they might lose him for nothing in the offseason and there's a good package out there, I think it needs to be considered.

That said right now I don't see any trade partners that make sense. I think at this point it would take a contender losing a PG for the season before the trade deadline.

Trading him to Philly would be a pretty cool way to part ways with him. I’m not sure how the trade would work, but I’m sure he’d love a shot to win there before his career is over.
