Default Insurance claim

My wife on my vehicle slightly hit a different vehicle when was parking yesterday during that nasty weather. Wondering if I file claim on my own vehicle on top of the 3rd party liability claim, will that be considered as one claim or two claims? Seems like should be one claim as both relate to the same incident. Do I think correctly?

Yes, one claim. It will be a claim against you either way if the other person goes through insurance. So if your damage is more than your deductible then you may as well claim for it.
