Ducks Ducks vs Flames - 7:00 - SnetW

I'm on the road right now. So this is the best I can do right now.

Go Flames, roast some Duck in the Dome.

This will be an incredibly tough game despite the Ducks record but hopefully we can see a spectacular game by Ramo and a win.

4-2 Flames (Bennett with a two goal game)

I had a dream last night the Flames win this one 5-1 so I'm going with that.

It would be nice to get a win tonight to help bury these guys but the Flames have never had an answer for Perry and Getzlaf. They seem to always elevate their game against the Flames.

Hopefully it's the December Flames that show up and not the Slump Buster Flames.

Getzzy sure could use another 5 point night LOL. Let's hope it's not the Flames who give it to him.

The Flames seem to play the Ducks well at home. Its just the games in Anaheim that seem to give them fits. Going with the Flames to win here. 4-3
Goals from Gaudreau, Bennett, Giordano & Colborne

Cant see this one being close. Flames continue strong play even though it is against the Ducks(God I hate that team). Monahan, Brodie, Ferland and Gaudreau with CAL goals and ANA goal from one of their d-men.

An Arizona loss and Flames win would leap Calgary into 2nd in the Pacific!

I have a good feeling about this game. Flames typically can beat the Ducks at the Dome and the team is just clicking right now at home. It is a recipe for a win. Go Flames Go!!!

Key to the Game

Don't get caught flat footed on the rush

The Ducks have been using strong skating and their big bodies to make power moves toward the net with some success. Even when the defender has a respectable gap, their power forwards can close it very, very quickly. Their size allows them to shrug off checks and their speed can help them blow by a defender.

Here's Perry leaving one guy behind...

Here's Santorelli doing it as well...

Neither of these plays resulted in goals, but they were very good looks at net. Perry finally scored with it as the 3rd period started.

Bottom line is, the Ducks are big but they're fast and they know how to use the combination well off the rush. The defence keeping their feet moving and having a strong stick can help alleviate that tonight. I'm looking at you Wideman....

Today is my third anniverary with my wife. Ergo the Flames will win. But the score? Well three years of marriage, one kid no major fights, so call it 3-1 Flames with the EN by Hudler to wake his ass up.

4-2 Flames. I'll be in the Dome tonight with my retro jersey on, eating Mac and Cheese.

The retro jersey is 10-0 this season and the Mac and Cheese is 7-0 this season.

Go Flames Go!

Default Ducks vs Flames - 7:00 - SnetW

A win tonight and we jump into a playoff spot. Potentially second if Arizona loses to Chicago in regulation.
