I'm jealous that you have Cammalleri and Iginla. I've been wanting to get them for a long time.

Thanks.
Cammalleri is pretty solid in the game but I find Iggy gets knocked off the puck pretty easily. I had Stafford on that line and felt he was more productive. Maybe I'm just too hard on Iggy, he does back check really hard

Ew. I opened a mega pack with microsoft points because I had nothing else to use them on and a jumbo gold pack. Got nothing other than Backstrom from Washington, which is awesome, i'll use him.
Other than that. Gross.

I've been playing way too much of this mode; I can't tell if it's destroying or enhancing my existence. I've also spent more money on points for packs than I'm willing to admit to anyone with a functioning brain.
I'm currently:
Cammalleri (A)-Thornton-Iginla (C)
Semin-Couture-Pominville
Tanguay-Lombardi-Horton
Glencross-Legwand-Stalberg
Bouwmeester (A)-Byfuglien
Phaneuf-Shattenkirk
Giordano-Erik Johnson
Kiprusoff
Karlsson
A decent mixture of speed, skill, and the ability to crush craniums, so far. The line-up looked different before but I shuffled around and made the changes necessary to bring my team chemistry up. It's now at 98 as all of my D-pairings and O-lines are at a chemistry figure of 99 except for Cammy-Thornton-Iggy, which is at 95.

I've had quite a few cards on the trade pile for a while now that I can't seem to part with. Umberger, Neuvirth, Prust, Sturm, Streit, Drew Miller, Abdelkader, Paajarvi, Bitz, Chimera, Penner, Hornqvist, Franzen, etc. Prices aren't unreasonable.

Yeahhh, I think we're in the same boat there, lmao. Although, it allowed me to put together most of the team I wanted.

The buggars really get you by dangling the carrot of fresh new packs. You're always "one more player away" and "one more pack" from getting what you want. Nine million points later, and you're left in a drivelling, alcoholic heap on your bathroom floor wondering where your life savings have gone and why you still don't even have an Ovechkin or Datsyuk card.

Problem is that player cards never expire, so all these "mega packs" are flooding the market 30 cards at a time, supply is driving down demand so the market is going to hell.
Was up to 190k pucks last week but ended up deleting the HUT team completely and started over. Why? It's no fun to be able to buy any team you want, the challenge is being able to work the Auction House, flip cards for profit, and beat better teams than your own to earn pucks.
It's improved this casual player's gameplay skill greatly. Currently 16-4 with a team of scrubs, and 2-0 online. Just beat the defending Amateur tourney champion today, and he had a pretty stacked team.
So now the goal is to start from scratch, pick up pucks and never pay for a pack. Currently at
Tanguay - Hudler - D'Agostini
Gerbe - Brule - Read
Comeau - scrub - scrub
Bartschi - scrub - scrub
Butler - Franson
Orpik - scrub
scrub - Sarich
Ruzicka
scrub
Haven't paid more than 1,000 pucks for any player. Found Tanguay for 750 pucks today.
Problem with this strategy now is that with a flooded market, flipping cards is next to impossible and competing gets harder as everyone has good players now.
Thanks, EA Sports.

E Staal - Toews (A)- Iginla (C)
Tanguay - Cammalleri - Marleau (A)
S Reinhart - M Reinhart - Ismond (Kootenay Ice line)
pylon- B Sutter- pylon (Lethbridge Hurricanes line)
Bouwmeester - Weber
Timonen - Wideman
Rielly - McIlrath (Moose Jaw Warriors line)
Fred Brathwaite
both top lines have all been changed to Flames, and players changed positions as listed
Most of the fun in the game for me is working the market, having a bit of a hard time adjusting to the crash trying to earn pucks. Before the crash I was earning around 10K a night and now I'm around the 1K. Been forced to play games to earn pucks, which I said before most of the fun for me is working the market.

Well, It has been a while since I have updated my lines. Here they are.
Patrick Sharp - Eric Staal (C) - Michael Grabner (All Carolina)
Mike Cammalleri (A+LW) - Patrice Bergereon (A) - Justin Williams (All Calgary)
Evander Kane - David Krejci - Jason Pominville (All Dallas)
Mason Raymond - Antoinne Vermette - Mikkel Boedker (All Phoenix)
Ryan McDonagh - Kevin Shattenkirk
Jay Bouwmeester - Zack Bogosian
Matt Carle - Dennis Wideman
Kari Lehtonen
Ilyz Bryzgalov
My entire defense, and both goaltenders are team changed to Calgary.
The most productive players I have are E. Staal, Grabner and Cammalleri. The biggest disappointments would be Justin Williams and Evander Kane.

^ My biggest disappointment is Nash. He just isn't putting the puck in the net at all. I'm trying to trade him, heh.

Yeah, its strange how that works. I received nothing put positive feedback on Kane before purchasing him, but unfortunately he has failed to live up to expectations.
I have tried him on several lines but it is apparent that he is a poor fit for my play style.
